No Child Deserves to live in FEAR
On Saturday January 23, 2016 four rocking bands set the stage on fire playing everything from the blues, classic, pop and alternative Rock N Roll in support of Bikers Against Child Abuse.
Rock N Roll
The Montreal chapter of B.A.C.A. held their first annual musical event on the West Island of Montreal in the historic Resto Bar Le Pionnier. The room was packed with over 200 people from near and far all there to support a meaningful cause.

These men and women of B.A.C.A. are the real deal and I can tell you that this old biker is privileged to call many of the members from the Montreal Chapter brother & sister. These " bikers " as some would call them, give their time and most importantly, their hearts for the children. They do, what many are afraid or unwilling to. They stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves, and they worked hard to make this show a success.
That success was evident by the support of many very generous sponsors to help raise funds to help the kids as well as 200 people, all jammed into a very warm room. Many standing for the entire evening to watch, listen and dance to the music.
The entire evening had a sense of giving. The people in the room felt present. Most everyone with exception to the die hard hockey fans, focused on the show, but the highlight of the evening was when the B.A.C.A. Montreal chapter president, C.C. Rider stood up on stage with a wall of B.A.C.A. members behind him, and explained what B.A.C.A. is all about and how the members are a support system for the children... Family to these children.
A Symbol of Empowerment
Each child that is welcomed into the family is given a vest of their own. This vest tells the child that they are part of a family that these bikers are there for the child 24/7/365, and can call on his/her brothers and sisters at any time of day or night and and B.A.C.A. will come rolling in.
Each child is also given a teddy bear and I quote C.C. "Never underestimate the power of a teddy bear". What happened next was so awesome. Each and everyone of the people in the room helped fill that teddy bear with love. It was so cool to watch him wander around the room for people to hold, hug and love the little guy.
C.C. added that the B.A.C.A. family does this for all of the bears and children and I thought it was so beautiful, that I had to share this. I was witness to an incredible evening of giving. I was witness to 200 + people caring, being positive. If you witness the same, or felt something special in the room...share this story.
Peace, Love & Time,
